  • 1939: Born in Nhatrang, Vietnam
  • 1962: Graduated from Hue College of Fine Arts, selected for the 1st National Fine Arts Exhibition, Saigon.
  • 1963: Selected for “Biennal de Paris”
  • 1964: Selected for “Biennal de Tunis”
  • 1966-1974: Group exhibition of the Vietnamese Young Artists Association, General secretary of the Vietnamese Young Artist Association
  • 1969: Group exhibition in the USA
  • 1970-1973: Taught oil painting at the Hue College of Fine Arts and the SaiGon National College of Fine Arts
  • 1985: Returned to painting
  • 1991: Selected by the Plum Blossoms Galerie, Hong Kong
  • 1992: Interviewed on Artist at-Work pages of the Asian Art News
  • 1993-1996: Exhibited permanently in Galerie La Vong, Hongkong
  • 1994-1995: Exhibited and studied European modern arts in Paris
  • 1996: Published an essay for the 2nd Asia Pacific Find Arts International Exhibition in Brisbane, Australia
  • 1996-1997: Visiting lecturer at San Francisco State University
    Speaker at the Laguna Museum
    Speaker at Art Teach Center, Palm Springs, California
    Exhibited recent works in California, Washington, D.C., and Louisiana
  • 1997: Selected for Southeast Asian Art – A New Spirit, with 100 established artists from the region published in Singapore.
  • Awards: 1962: Honor Certificate of the 1st International Fine Arts Exhibition in Saigon; 1963: Broze Medal of the Spring Paintings, a national exhibition; 1964: Silver Medal of the Spring Paintings, a national exhibition
